Whidbey Island Highland Games: Whidbey Island For the first time the Cladach and Bradan Schools of Irish Dance performed together at the Whidbey Island Highland Games! It was a roaring success as the schools danced hardshoe and softshoe steps, sang Irish ballads, and Katt L. played fiddle. |
| About the Cladach and Bradan Companies: |
Both Cladach and Bradan Company are audition based companies run by Kody Friedrich and Katherine Cram. Kody Friedrich heads the Bradan (senior) company, and Katherine and Kody both lend their talents to the Cladach (junior) company. Company Dancers wear non-traditional costume, as we do non-traditional choreographies All students dancing with the Company are attending several hours of Irish Dance classes each week, including choreography, technique, Solos, and figures. It takes a great deal of commitment to belong to our Companies, and the dedication shows through the performances we deliver. |
